The real reason for the cancellation of Superman & Lois has been revealed, and it has confirmed that DC Universe has not given up on the negative trend for DC films and television shows that the franchise has grown to be renowned for.

After Batman beats the Riddler, Catwoman tries to get him to leave Gotham with her and go upstate, Bludhaven maybe.
She tells him that together they can knock off some CEO hedge fund types. Batman says no, so Catwoman gets on her motorbike and drives off.
