Apart from producing our own versions of popular musical numbers, I also love featuring newer, lesser-known or even original songs. I first heard this song six years ago when Jaynie performed it in a Spirit video. The song is part of Flora Leo’s musical Show & Tell. After revisiting the song a few weeks ago, I decided to ask someone to record their own version of it – and I thought of Sophie. I was lucky enough to have seen her as Amanda in the West End production of Matilda and have worked with her on a few projects. She’s incredibly good at learning new materials and interpreting them. She trains with Spirit YPC and Spirit YDC, and her latest Spirit video is the 13 video released last week. She also played Pepa in our ‘We Don’t Talk about Bruno’ video from a few weeks ago and today, you get to hear her own version of ‘Andy’.
