Time to deal with Robert, but it won't be easy. The main objective is to survive for 7 turns until Robert shows up on the map, then kill him to end the chapter.

The secret lunatic objective is similar to the one you had to do for chapter 3. There are four boss enemies, one each in a different direction, and all four must be dead before you kill Robert. The map must also be completed in less than 17 turns.

Much like chapter 3, you're going to have to split up your party. While there is a soft 17 turn limit, a death squad akin to what Leonora brought in the previous chapter shows up a couple turns after Robert appears so in reality, you're looking at roughly a 11 turn limit here.

Thankfully, with what I had to do to deal with Leonora last chapter, Fred can easily take the western side solo and I need only wall up a bit against the northern enemy group by having Jakka bait out the Paladin. He might be able to wipe the whole northern group with some lucky dodges, but I actually do not want to kill all of them off just yet.

To the east goes Bjarki & Berit as well as Runa. Only mounted units in this chapter so Runa can do some work with a Hunting Bow once again. I also send Aylanda & Jaheira to the east to provide support, but I totally forgot to give Aylanda a tome to attack with since my previous attempts had her sit on the barrel to lure in a few of the northern forces so Jakka wouldn't be overwhelmed. This makes things a bit...complicated later on.

Going south is basically everyone else minus Kurt & Angelus. Colter & Thea have an A support they picked up last chapter and Colter got a very nice weapon called the Peshkatz thanks to it. High power, 1-2 range, and good crit.

Also of note in action here is Shom. There's a small group of Pegasus Knights in the southwest and he has some business with one of them.

As for Kurt & Angelus, the latter is going to assist Jakka with extra turn granting while Kurt is going to position himself near the ballista in the northwest. That's because by ensuring I don't kill off the entire initial northern enemy force, there's a green unit Sniper that'll hop in the nearest ballista and off one of them. Kurt can just so happen to recruit this green army Sniper to our side.

As for Baudimon, someone visits the bar in town to find our lovable Ferdiand just luckily in the same town as us along with his butler and a pupil under his tutelage, Elmer. He orders his pupil to go out and deal with the threats and appears as a green unit. Baudimon luckily can talk to him and get him to join the army.

Finally, one of those Pegasus Knights is a named one, Shay. Shom can recruit her. Let's take a look at all three of the new recruits shall we?

First up is Elmer. He's a trainee class much like Natalie and is supposed to specialize in a magic type, but he's undecided so he's fighting with a unique staff, the Magic Missile. Pretty good stats, but he's still gonna need help in setting up kills until his stats develop.

Speaking of those stats, they're the typical low trainee levels, but his growths are actually pretty respectable aside from speed which is a base of 5 with a 35% growth. I won't be using him this playthrough (and he got blown up by a Falcoknight and left this mortal coil to boot!), but he certainly has potential.

Elmer's personal skill is Cowardice, granting him 2 additional damage and 10% hit when attacking at 2 range.

Next up is Shay and boy am I excited because she's going to be really good after she gets her A rank support with Shom. She's your second flyer unit after Jaheira and also specializes in spears. Whereas Jaheira is more str & def focused, Shay is mag & res focused, even having a personal weapon in the Ice Lance to take advantage of her magic. Her con is really bad though so she's taking a fair con penalty for using most spears right now.

Growth wise, her only bad ones are str & def, both 25%. Luk is at 40%, then everything else is at 50% or better. Really good! She even has the same personal skill as Shom!

Finally, we have the Sniper, Hailey. She comes in packing some serious damage potential and strong bases in most aspects. Her strength is kinda low, but her personal skill Quick Draw (+5 damage when initiating combat) will help with that a little. Pretty good growths across the board too.

One problem though...her base 29 hp. Giving her some hp boosters may not be a bad plan at all.

Other than all that...not much to mention besides one VERY important stealable which is why Thea & Colter went south. When the Arch Knight & other Bow Knights pop up, the Arch Knight has a stealable Master Seal. Yeah, I need that!

More next time!
