Andaron Saga is a Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones hack by Mangs & some dedicated Fire Emblem enthusiasts. A heart gripping story and high octane gameplay awaits within.

Everyone prepares to continue the march towards a meeting with the Timaet bigwigs and try to figure out what the whole deal is with them encroaching on Andaron's soil. Aylanda will be joining as will her protector Theodor.

To pick up the pace, the team plans to pass through a cave. That'd be good if there wasn't a woman trying to prevent access to the cave. Luckily, Angelus knows this girl as his little sister Emilia and somehow manages to convince her to let the party in.

Oh yes, and the cave is home to a type of monster known as a Drider. Basically, mega giant ass spiders!

Inside the cave...well, Drider breeding time AND there's another enemy type known as Sirens in the area. Couple that with some nasty Thracia 776 styled fog + multiple routes and things will be nasty.

The goal is to find an exit, the likes of which you can find by taking either the western or eastern route. Both will end up at the same point near the exit.

As for the secret lunatic objective, there are a total of seven eggs spread around the map. You need to break all seven eggs and clear the chapter in less than 23 turns. Surprisingly tight, especially considering I'm going to feed all the eggs to Fred since they provide 50 exp a kill.

If you have Dawncaller, Baudimon can damn near solo the eastern side if you really wanted to. Having someone like Lilinette tail behind to keep him topped off in case of an emergency helps. I also send a few others to the east, including our two new party members in Theodor & Emilia.

Theodor's a Mage Knight with access to swords, lances, and anima magic. Drider enemies are weak to fire which is perfect since he comes with an Elfire tome. His bases are alright, but he really needs to develop speed quickly. Low luck growth, but the rest are just fine. His personal skill is Guardian, reducing damage all female allies within 2 spaces of him take by 2 points.

Finally, Emilia. She's very important to keep alive since there's a task only she can perform much later in the game and she needs to stay alive the whole game. Thankfully she comes prepared by being your first user of dark magic, having strong bases for a lv4 unit, and one of the best personal skills in the game in Dark Aura. Any enemy that's within 3 spaces of her will take a -15% blow to crit evade.

Growth wise, str & luck are her only bad ones. Everything else is very good and gives her crazy potential if built up.

Back to the routes...only two are going north, Fred & Angelus. Fred, as mentioned before, is going to get every egg kill because he's going to need to promote next chapter for a big task.

Everyone else I take down the western route. The fog is annoying so don't be afraid to spam Illuminate with Aylanda or Lilinette to scout ahead for enemies.

There's three big dangers to worry about in the west. One's a new enemy type, Sirens. They have weapons that inflict ailments if they connect. Silence only annoys the spellcasters, there's one on each side of the map with a weapon that inflicts sleep. They can also grant enemy allies extra turns.

As you approach the west central alcove, the reason I brought Jakka along shows itself once Fred gets around to breaking the egg. Out pops the same thief from chapter 3 who, if not recruited by Jakka or Baudimon, will very likely get himself killed.

This thief is known as Buggi and, despite being a Brigand class, can indeed steal and open chests like any regular thief can. He's also a potential pick for next chapter's big strategy, but on lunatic it can be tough to get him into shape quickly.

Buggi's personal skill is Good Bet, increasing his hit by +30% when initiating combat. Good cause his base skill and skill growth aren't good at all.

The northwest corner houses the biggest danger of this chapter, the secret event enemy. It's a floating eyeball jerk with one of THE most annoying skills ever. Don't like the devil reversal mechanic? Fighting them at all means you have the standard 31-Luck chance to backfire on your attacks.

The best way to get around this...one of the chests in this chapter houses a Nosferatu tome for Emilia. If the reversal kicks in with that tome equipped, you merely do no damage to the enemy.

Finally, the boss. Hope you like fighting a dragon zombie! Tons of hp and its breath ignores defenses, meaning you need to send someone with around mid 30s for hp totals to tank the attack. It's weak to the same weapons that the terrors are though.

Somehow, someway, I managed to set it up where Fred could bag a kill after clearing the northeast corner (and getting a Dragon Axe from the chest in that corner).

More next time!
