Exit Fate is a role playing game made in RPGMaker by SCF. With 75 characters to recruit, a mixture of typical turn based combat and war battles, and an engaging story, the result is a very Suikoden-esque game.
The latest version of the game can always be found here:

Version being played: 1.02
Did some grinding to get weapons for a few characters up to speed, Jovian in particular since he's like Angel when she rejoined and didn't get any levels (or even healed any wounds he took during the first dungeon, heh).
Stat wise, he's very similar to Ayara. A bit less hp & magic than her, but the rest of his stats are either very slightly higher or better than hers. What makes him a strong frontliner though is his relation bonuses. He has A ranks with both Daniel & Angel, both of whom reciprocate that relation bonus back at an A rank.
To find Gaia's Heart, head south of Harlinton until you find the entrance next to a river.
Enemy wise, there's two dangerous ones in the Cave Troll & Carrion Worm. The former shows up solo, but has quite a bit of hp, has a strong physical strike, and has Column Strike . The latter is extremely fast, tends to come in groups of three, and can hit surprisingly hard.
Navigating through Gaia's Heart can be annoying since your vision is greatly cut down, making it difficult to tell if the way you're going is the right way or a quick destiny with a dead end.
For the first room after the first save point, you head north until you can't go north anymore, then east past a four way intersection to reach a chest with a Gold Dust. Backtrack to the four way intersection, then head north and follow the path until you see a three way intersection. Head west and you'll find your exit to the next room.
The next room is actually smaller than the last one. Head north to the three way intersection, then go east until you reach the next three way, then head north to hit the second save point with the exit to the next room to the north. Grab the Icestrike in the chest to the west of the save point first though.
In the next room, head north to the three way, then east to the next one, then south to a four way intersection. East leads to a Star Gown while north will bring you to the next three way. Head south, then east to find the final save point in this dungeon. Continuing east leads to the next room, but prepare for a boss first by making three columns with two people in each one if you can manage it.
In the next room, Daniel & Jovian find the exit to the cave. Too much rough housing of the locals within though woke up the cave's big bad boss and it needs to be put down.
Pestilence has a rather potent physical strike to kick things off, but it's nothing a Mend can't easily reverse. Cave-in hits everyone, but a Mend-All will reverse most of the damage. Also has Dark Bolt, but the damage stinks.
Finally, it has its signature move Deathly Breath. This hits a column and can inflict a wide range of status ailments. Not that the boss ever tried for this move in the fight here though.
Boss has a Titanium Orb (+8 mdf) to steal and drops a Plague Mask (Helmet with +6 mdf for 2 weight. Majorly nerfed from its Last Scenario incarnation sadly).
After the fight, Daniel & Jovian exit the cave to find out they're not that far away from Mayfall, meaning if they wanted to try an attack at all, it'd be best to go back and inform Keyser & Leonius about it.
Plan's simple upon appearing back in Harlinton...Leonius takes his squad to Blackwater Port while Daniel takes his army through Gaia's Heart. They'll strike from the west while Leonius hits them from the north.
So, what could go wrong? Daniel's group running into the Mayfall army led by Merrick right after exiting the cave, that's what could go wrong. They outnumber Merrick's forces, but being caught out the way they are forces them to retreat pronto to Amen Corner while Rorschach does ninja things to make haste to Leonius to tell him not to proceed with his attack.
At Amen Corner, it seems the most likely reason Mayfall got the drop was that they knew about the cave, but chose not to use it, even going as far as to leak this information to Leonius. No choice now but to head to Blackwater and head back to the castle where Leonius will be waiting.
On the way to Blackwater, you can enter Gaia's Heart on the Mayfall side and check for a trio of chests that the boss guarded. All of the chests have a red accessory that boosts a stat by 4. The glasses boost accuracy, bandana boosts skill, and the cape boosts dexterity.
Back at the meeting hall of Elysium, Leonius is given an update about Mayfall's surprise appearance outside the cave. All hope for retaking Mayfall is not lost though as Keyser has a plan, but he's going to need Daniel to get into contact with Rock to pull it off.
Next time, we'll totally not do just that in order to go on a sidequest.
