Chrono Trigger: Enhansa Edition is a hack by inuksuk that rebalances things such as characters, equipment, techs, and so on to provide a harder challenge overall.

Version being played: 0.4.4
Time to climb Death Peak and it begins with that program the Nu activated last video. Two trees appear upon talking to the first puppet you see. Whenever the wind blows, as long as you're standing behind a tree or walking into it, you won't be blown off the mountain. Not too hard to hit the second screen after a bit of practice, if any.
Enemy wise, everything gets blasted hard. Krakkers die to a couple AoE nukes while Macabres absorb shadow and don't do much else of note. If you have anyone that needs to learn techs still, this is a good chance to include them in your party.
Pretty linear dungeon overall with the second screen holding a Magic Ring in the southwestern corner and the third screen holding a Wall Ring to the northeast of the save point.
When you take the northwest exit into a cave, be ready for a boss, the first of three on this mountain. Turns out Lavos gave birth to some cranky kids and we have to teach them a lesson.
These offspring, the aptly named Lavos Spawn, are only ever threatening with their opener in which they throw needles at everyone...and it can sting something fierce. After that? It won't get a chance to use it again unless you have no good single target attacks in your team lineup.
Most importantly...do NOT attack the shell. Aim for the eye, simple as that. With some strong single target attacks from the likes of Robo & Ayla, the spawn gets torched.
Once the first spawn goes down, claim the Giga Arm (Robo weapon with +6 to stamina) from the nearby chest and go north. You'll exit the cave for a short bit to cross over a snowy path that leads back into said cave, but on the eastern side.
Speaking of the eastern side, there's another chest to claim...and boy is it good. The Siren Bow is another anti-enemy type weapon, but this time, it's against something we haven't heard about until now, Exotics. What are Exotics? Anything Lavos related!
The cave is exited once more on the east side, but this time you're back on the screen where the save point is. Examine the sparkle just to your northwest to open a third entrance into the cave down by the frozen river and proceed to backtrack to it.
Once you enter the cave down the center path, there's a Star Scythe to claim on the way. This weapon halves the target's hp when it connects.
After exiting the cave for good, Lavos Spawn #2 gets crushed. Siren Bow + Uzzi Punch = X giving it to a Lavos Spawn for almost 2000 damage per use.
Oh, and this isn't even close to how absurd X's damage can get. He picks up his final tech, Shock, from the shell going down.
The next screen is probably the toughest part of this dungeon. You've got the wind blowing here while you're crossing a narrow path west. Fall off and you'll need to walk back here. I find it easiest to walk against the wind as it makes it easier to adjust and hold up & left when you just want to move straight west.
After that screen, a bunch of Krakkers are seen doing some mad sledding skills. Ignore them and grab the Vedic Blade, a weapon that Crono can use which deals 4x damage if it crits.
When you reach the final part of the Nu's program that mentions needing to push a shell, you can reach the last save point and chest (Time Hat, blocks stop & slow) before the last Lavos Spawn. Marle takes the Siren Bow for a spin and dishes out some nice damage with her Sky Shot, roughly 1.4k damage on the eye per use.
When the final shell goes down, the eye goes kaput, but the shell stays behind. Push it to the northeast so you can climb up, grab a Memory Cap off to the east, and head north to reach the peak.
At the peak, the solution's simple...try to use the Chrono Trigger, watch it shatter, then panic. Evidently words are power for once Marle freaks out, an eclipse seems to happen. Next thing you know, everyone's back at the fateful moment where Crono got deleted from the game. The Clone is swapped in to Crono's place and...well, he's back with us!
After some tearful reunions, the team appears back in the End of Time. Only thing left is to destroy Lavos for good. You could take the Epoch to 1999 AD, the well in the End of Time, or raise hell as you advance through the Black Omen in any era except for 2300AD.
Before that happens though, Gaspar mentions a plethora of people & places that may provide us with some power that'll make the final battle that much easier. We'll be looking into all these avenues as we get cracking down on some sidequests starting in the next video.
