The newest train to hit the rails is Amtrak Borealis! This train offers daily service from the Twin Cities to Chicago, and is akin to the Milwaukee Road's afternoon Hiawatha's. We'll see this train in its first week of operations, equipment move, and its test train. It's great to have another train on the former Milwaukee Road!
Starting with the test train, we'll chase it over to Union Depot, and watch it make a rare, one time move. Following this, we'll see the equipment make a deadhead move behind the Empire Builder at night. After that, we'll see it at various points along the line from Hastings, and up towards Saint Paul. The classy Phase VII P42s look GREAT on this train.
