The Aiki Ken developed by Morihei Ueshiba (O'Sensei) is a method of using Japanese sword techniques to teach the principles of Aikido.

The 4 Ken Awase are partner practise exercises. They were developed by Morihiro Saito Sensei for sword blending, timing, fluidity and stability.

They form part of the Takemusu Iwama Aikido Europe syllabus.

Demonstrating the Awase movements are Paul Lowing and Alex Gent.
