Quick video tutorial from 2Dgameartguru.com on how to separate your fill and line art while keeping it editable.

This video explains how to keep your line art in a separate layer from your fill while keeping it all editable in Affinity Designer. Having your line art on a separate layer from your fill and shading can be helpful at times. Usually, this means changes will be a little harder and time-consuming. Symbols can be the answer, or more precisely the Sync functionality of symbols.

Most of the functionality shown in the video can be created with other software tools such as Adobe's Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Inkscape with minor alterations and different names for the tools used.
