This is a quick tutorial video on creating variations to the looping knot design using symbols in Affinity Designer
I will show you how to create looping bands or knot designs using symbols. Affinity Designer's symbols are a very flexible and often underrated tool for creating great designs. One symbol and 8 instances create an intricate design. Adding the 'sync' functionality to the mix allows colour changes to symbols. While keeping the shape intact, the different instances can have different colours or gradients.
