Of course, as we approach Christmas, if we’re lucky we might have some unusual food containers in the fridge that are worth exploring as potential shakers. For today’s Advent Shaker make, I had to work my way through a container of cheese. Such a trial!

Well I love cheese, and so this is an old cheese container. And it just makes a wonderful shaker! It’s almost like, I suppose, using brushes or something.

Evelyn is stood in front of an array percussion instruments of varying shapes, sizes, textures and colours. She shows us the shaker she has created today, as part of her Advent Shaker Calendar (where she is making a new shaker every day in the lead-up to Christmas), describing what it is made from, and then demonstrates it.
