Evelyn introduces a new instrument which has joined her Sound Forge, as part of The Evelyn Glennie Collection, the Double Horizontal Spring Cowbell from SM Percussion.

Evelyn is stood behind a large timpani, on top of which rests the SM Percussion Double Horizonal Spring Cowbell. Placing it on a timpani, to use the timpani as a resonator, she then improvises to produce a myriad of soundscapes, using a combination of mallets and chopsticks to create some moan-like wails, some staccato, sharp sounds, and some booming deep echoes.
