Well I've certainly had my fair share of mallet and stick cases over the years. And it's really important to have cases that are, you know, incredibly protective of your gear, especially when they're put into holds or if you're having to carry them with a lot of other luggage.

So this wonderful company, Schlagkunst, make very very wonderful pieces -
really strong - this is not their biggest size but it's a really useful size. Very very sturdy indeed.

It's a clean shape, very easy to hold and to carry. It's very clean inside, clean design, you have these wonderful little pouches here that you can put pencils, drum keys or triangle sticks - whatever you want.

And then two sections inside, just divided by a clean divider there, again to split your mallets up how you would like.

If you do have some music that you want to carry, there would be room to put maybe A4 size music in there too.

So this is just for, I would say, a smaller set of mallets that you might have. Schlagkunkst very kindly put in some individual bags here, that you can protect smaller instruments - like clavies or castanets or something - or other types of mallet, so very, very handy indeed.

Then also, they have included a kind of mallet holder or stick holder that just sort of goes out
like an accordion and you can fix this onto the player side of a marimba, vibraphone or a drum kit. So just really handy handy things to have.

But as I say, the main thing is that it's really really strong and Schlagkunst have very kindly put my initials on there, which is a very nice touch, so thank you very much indeed for this.
