The only limit to what can be made into a shaker is your imagination. Today’s Advent Shaker Calendar creation involves, of all things, a dentures holder. Though I honestly do not know where it came from!

Well I’ve got no idea where I got this from. It looks as though it is a dentures holder or something like that, goodness knows! But anyway, a little bit of – again – fish stones in here and we have today’s shaker.

Evelyn is stood in front of an array percussion instruments of varying shapes, sizes, textures and colours. She shows us the shaker she has created today, as part of her Advent Shaker Calendar (where she is making a new shaker every day in the lead-up to Christmas), describing what it is made from, and then demonstrates it.

One of my wonderful volunteers created this beautiful, wintery toned instrument which feels like icicles being played! It deserves a special name so I was wondering if you had any ideas?
EDIT - Ive since decided to call it a Frostklockan, after some truly excellent suggestions on my social media pages!
