If you’ve been watching my Advent Shaker Calendar series, you’ll know that recycled food and drinks containers are a stable ingredient in order to create these sound meals, and today is no exception!

So today I’ve found a little Yakult container, and I’ve put some ball bearings in here. So despite the tiny size of the container, the weight of the ball bearings really does give this a surprisingly heavy sound.

Evelyn is stood in front of an array percussion instruments of varying shapes, sizes, textures and colours. She shows us the shaker she has created today, as part of her Advent Shaker Calendar (where she is making a new shaker every day in the lead-up to Christmas), describing what it is made from, and then demonstrates it.
