The Chandler Police Department reported that Mesa Police Department officers were involved in a shooting in Chandler on Tuesday night.

The incident occurred on Sept. 1 near the intersection of McQueen and Frye roads. Law enforcement stated that the scene remains active and requested that members of the public avoid the area until officers deem it safe.
