The stars aligned and I got to run my 700th parkrun on the week of my 17th parkrun birthday! I wanted to head to a parkrun close to home but one that wasn't too busy and so I chose the beautiful but very hilly Potternewton parkrun.
It was such a lovely morning and great to have a chance to look back and have a moment of gratitude for the hard times parkrun has helped me get through, and to thank the wonderful volunteers that have facilitated my parkrun journey. Here's to my next 700 parkruns!
