Day 3 of our Arizona BDR motorcycle adventure started out with a lovely morning in camp. After enjoying some instant coffee and packing up my motorcycle camping gear, we headed back out into the Arizona Desert.

It's remarkable how much some parts of the state make you feel like you're living in a Roadrunner cartoon. Today had a ton of that kind of territory.
On day 3 we rode our adventure bikes along a very cool maintenance road with a lot of sand and rocks to navigate before veering off the beaten path to check out a historical site: the cemetery where Maude Earp is buried. Afterward, it was through the coolest mountain tunnel I've ever seen and on to an evening of motocamping at Roosevelt Lake.
