The CFMOTO Ibex 450 suspension is not terrible in stock form. It's plenty for everyday riding and the occasional more difficult section...but if you intend to spend a lot of time riding off road and/or you'll be carrying a lot of luggage on the bike, a suspension upgrade is always a good investment.
Paul at Evo Oregon is the expert on cheap Ibex 450 suspension upgrades. He's developed his own drop in Ibex 450 fork upgrades and upgraded the Ibex 450 rear shock with a spring that's more appropriate for my weight and the kinds of riding I'll be doing.
