My plan was to ride some back roads on the way to pick up some steaks and head straight home. The day did NOT go according to plan. I crashed my KTM 390 Adventure R and got it so stuck that I had to call for a rescue.

I was having a great day riding the KTM 390 Adventure R off road exploring the local woods, checking out Round Lake, and then working my way around some closed roads and on to an optional harder section of the Oregon BDR. All was going well until a freak accident (I think caused by the stupid KTM 390 Adventure kickstand) caused me to run off the road and down a nearby embankment. After an hour of trying to free my 390 Adventure by myself, I finally realized I was going to have to call in the cavalry.
2 hours later, salvation arrived. @thegracefulrenegade 's husband Wes came out in his Tundra and winched my adventure bike back onto the road.
All things considered, this crash and rescue could have been a lot worse. I was very lucky on multiple counts.
