Hello everyone, welcome to the Barrie Airshow Weekend 2025 presented by Pratt Homes.

Kicking things off with this stream of airshow uploads is the Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 Hornet Tactical Air Demonstration. While the official CF-18 Hornet Demo Team was stood down for the 2025 season, the air force has agreed to send several Hornets to airshows across Canada to still showcase the Hornet from a tactical air demonstration perspective and Barrie did happen to the one of them.

Unfortunately, even though two Hornets were planned and flown in on Thursday before the show, by Friday it was concluded that one of the Hornets had broken leaving only a single bird to do the show. The Hornet had 10--15 minutes of airtime and wowed the crowd with some passes including top side, overhead, high speed and dirty.
