Hello everyone!
Welcome to the Canadian International Air Show 2024!
Presenting the Ministry of Natural Resources Ontario Canadair CL-415 Super Scooper or Water Bomber as it is also commonly known. A really cool addition to the show this year, it was great to have these birds back since the last time two showed up in 2008.
For the show, it was an Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources bird that showed up, a 26 year old Canadair CL-415 Super Scooper registered as C-GOGX. For the show the aircraft came around and scooped up a round of water before dropping it in front of the crowd twice. It then landed and then powered over around towards the fireboat before departing the show to head back to Toronto Pearson Int'l.
