I found this Star Burst New England Clock on E-Bay for a wonderful price that I couldn't pass up. Here I work on the battery movement a little and freed it up and the clock started running again. Remember if you are looking to keep your value on the clock, KEEP the battery movement that came with the clock..... as long as it has a clear cover over the movement and better yet, the sticker is on the movement that does say New England Clock Co.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
