[CnD] Heal Chronomancer | Beta | 28.11.2023 Patch Xyonon 2023-11-29 | After all these years, it's finally back: My beloved Heal Chronomancer! ♥Rifle seems like an amazing weapon and great addition to the Chronomancer's arsenal. It is the backbone of the Heal Chronomancer covering essential boons such as Might, Fury and Regeneration as well as providing large amounts of heals and barrier. The cherry-on-top is the amazing portal on skill #5. Rifle skill priority is #3 #5 #2 #4 #1.This video shows a rather spammy and not too easy but strong and flexible variant of Heal Chronomancer. There are many ways to play this build, as different combinations of traits, weapons and skills will be able to provide what you need for your squad. However as a healer you should always either provide Quickness or Alacrity together with Might, Fury, Regeneration and Protection. However Chronomancer has access to every boon in the game and thus you should provide whatever you seem most suitable / important in any given situation.The same goes for weapons, where you should run rifle + whatever you need; be it focus pulls, more chaos auras from staff or blocks, might, cc from shield. I used a mere default set of heal / utility / elite skills in this video but do pick any of the pretty Mesmer skills that can sweeten your squad's day! [CnD] Cardinal Adina - Heal Mechanist | 2:20 Xyonon 2022-10-13 | As Mechanists our jobs were to apply Vulnerability to Adina and capping it as quickly as possible, granting a high amount of unique boons to the subgroup as the Bladesworns deal more damage for each of them. Aegis specifically has been used to negate the damage of the shockwaves in the split phases entierly. A combination of Regeneration, Barrier and blasting Water Fields kept the squad not only alive but also above 90% HP for Writ uptime. There was one difference between the two Mechanists: One of us tanked Adina and one of us used Throw Mine instead of Bomb Kit to strip Protection for the first Dragon Slash. Finally, we also tried dealing as much DPS as possible while doing so. Since the pressure of this fight is rather low, we decided to go for a Celestial build, as we were able to utilize almost every stat it provides; especially Expertise for Vulnerability uptime. [CnD] Power Alacrity Mechanist | 25.0k Benchmark | 02.08.2022 Patch Xyonon 2022-08-05 | After the most recent changes and bug fixes, I believe it's time to deliver an updated Power Alacrity Mechanist video. The purpose of this build is still to provide permanent Alacrity, 25 Might and now also permanent Fury while dealing as much damage as possible. Most noticably - I now use rifle instead of mace.Why rifle now? Mace/pistol is currently around ~24k, most of the time you need a shield for CC, which puts it down to ~23k. Rifle almost has the same CC as mace/shield but significantly more DPS. [CnD] Condition Mechanist; J-Drive | 38.3k (25 Confusion) Benchmark | 15.03.2022 Patch Xyonon 2022-03-21 | The latest buffs to mace were finally enough to make it the optimal weapon for the J-Drive DPS build. J-Drive uses only one kit and therefore benefits a lot from an auto attack stronger than Grenade. While the benchmark is rather low for a Condition Damage DPS class, it inflicts an average of 25 Confusion, which pushes it's damage to a solid number depending on the encounter. [CnD] Dhuum - [[BIG SHOT]] Scrapper | 4:34 Xyonon 2021-10-15 | While skillfully ignoring the Chronomancer all-time record on Dhuum, we present a current composition that managed to reclaim the Underworld within 4:34. As always our goal was to use a fresh and unexplored setup, enjoy!The general strategy for this speedkill was - as per usual - to remove the Druid and replace them with a DPS class. We managed to achieve this by utilizing Barrier from Scourges, healing and damage mitigation from Scrappers and combine it with each classes innate self sustain.Scrappers were brought for Quickness and to further increase the squad's DPS with Pinpoint Distribution. Additionally they used Sneak Gyro to stealth the Reapers and thus manipulate the pathing of the Enforcers, Deathlings and Messengers, allowing the commonly known "throne-tanking". They provided Protection for the relevant bombs and 10% phase and granted Super Speed for both that and the drain-phase as well. This natural Boon Duration allows us to run way less Diviner's gear which finally makes Quickness Scrapper strong enough to be (damage wise) competitive with Firebrand and Chronomancer. It is a great option for pugs and organized Raids. :)This build is minmaxed for both damage as well as convenience regarding inventory management. It will let you use your Power Scrapper/Holosmith gear except for the amulet and one ring. However additional gear is adviced in order to tank or minmax without the Spotter buff. Alacrity Mirage (in my opinion) is now in a rather balanced state. Confusion still carries the build's DPS yet the very slow ramp up will keep it at bay for most encounters. As it is with anything that applies a lot of Confusion; Alacrity Mirage does extremely well against the fast attacking Raid bosses: Cairn, Soulles Horror and the Twin Largos.A part of the DPS drop is because we no longer can afford to go full damage oriented gear. Besides the build relying on permanent Regeneration, the base Alacrity duration also forces you to at the very least use Toxic Maintenance Oil for more Boon Duration. [CnD] Sabetha the Saboteur - Kite Mirage | 2:46 Xyonon 2021-06-08 | Not an exceptionally fast kill, but still exciting! It was an interesting experience to be a Sabetha Kite Mirage in a group without a healer. In order for this to work I had to avoid as much damage as I could and both blind and interrupt adds with Chaos Armor and Chaos Storm (1:18 & 2:16).Additionally, due to the lack of a steady Regeneration source and not being able to make every Chaos Vortex apply Alacrity to the group, I had to increase my Boon Duration by a rather large amount. After the formerly overtuned Minstrel Chronomancer lost its strongest Chaos trait in December, 2018, lots of people kept its gear to tank bosses with it. Unfortunately these builds often don't contribute much more than Quickness to the squad.While using Minstrel gear too, the Heal Quickness Chronomancer (designed to be a tank) additionaly provides - anticlimactic reveal - healing! [CnD] Power Quickness Scrapper | 26.6k DPS Benchmark | 25.05.2021 Balance Patch Xyonon 2021-05-26 | The 25.05.2021 balance patch buffed Kinetic Accelerators from 2s to 2.5s Quickness per Super Speed application. This lets us run less Diviner's gear and with Spotter we almost perfectly crit-cap again. It's a nice buff but sadly won't be enough to make it truly competitive with Firebrand or Chronomancer. It is a viable option for pugs and regular Raids tho. :)In theory 24.24% Boon Duration is required to make this work; however theory does not apply to the golem and absolutely not to Raids. There will be moments in your rotation where multiple skills come up at the same time, thus artificially increasing their cooldowns. Additionally you do not want to interrupt your auto attack chain or delay strong damage skills. And finally you want to end up stacking Quickness and not be on ±0 while fighting a boss. Also: do NOT use Stealth Gyro for Quickness, as its random Stealth will screw with auto attack chains of other players, completely ruin the rotation for Thieves and barely help with Quickness uptime (+5.46%) to begin with. It is designed to apply 100% uptime of Alacrity and 25 stacks Might to 10 players. Yes, casting Chaos Storm is technically a DPS loss on the golem but a gain in Raids due to interrupt procs and the strong combo field. Consider that this build applies a lot of Confusion to the enemy. This will approximately add 9k-35k DPS, depending on attack speed and immobility of the target. [CnD] Heal Scrapper Quickness Test | 11.05.2021 Balance Patch Xyonon 2021-05-12 | This is not a rotation video (yet ;D), just a simple test for sustaining Quickness with a 95% Boon Duration Heal Scrapper. The theoretical required Boon Duration is 86.19%, but you can't cast everything always perfectly on cooldown, less even in an actual Raid.Elixier Gun and Med Kit are the bread and butter of Heal Engi. Thus to not replace them I try to sustain Quickness with Blast Gyro, Bypass Coating, Bulkwark Gyro, Function Gyro and Bandage Self. This was way closer and more of a struggle than it should be with 95% Boon Duration. To use Function Gyro like this is also questionable. If you want to play this, it is viable, just not very forgiving. Also you should probably go for 100% Boon Duration instead (unlike silly me :D).Let's hope the base duration of Kinetic Accelerators gets a big fat buff in a future update to make this play nicer. [CnD] Samarog - Chronomancer | 3:00 Xyonon 2020-12-19 | Thanks to the naturally high amount of self-Quickness from Berserkers and the Soulbeast, I was able to run with 34% Boon Duration only and cover Quickness entirely with just Seize the Moment, Time Warp and Well of Action.
