Note:
The major difference from this video and the old one is very slight improvements to the rotation and just more grind to get a better number.
The rotation and its concept in the Janthir Wild release remains the same as during the beta.
See here for a rough written rotation: pastebin.com/3Ka0WaEV
If you are playing this on a small hitbox, like this golem size.
Then all you need to do to hit with Spear 2's outer edge is to take a small step back.
I overdo this in my rotation a little bit, you don't need to go as far out as I do at some points.
If you don't hit with the outer edge at all it comes out at about a 700 to 800 dps loss over the entire bench.
General rotation structures are:
Dagger:
2 Phantasmal Swordsmen (Sword 5)
3 Bladecalls (Dagger 2)
2 Unstable Bladestorms (Dagger 3)
Spear:
4 Mind the Gaps (Spear 2)
1 Imaginary Inversion (Spear 3)
2 Phantasmal Lancers (Spear 4)
1 Mental Collapse (Spear 5)
This specific rotation will produce a bit less boon uptime than the old Greatsword due to us signeting sword instead of spear.
We do this because the spear phantasm is relatively weak compared to other phantasms, such as phantasmal swordman or berserker.
But spear makes up for its weak phantasm with strong personal skills (auto, spear 2, spear 3 and spear 5).
I am working on a benchmark where I just accept the DPS loss and signet spear everytime, that rotation will have the same boon uptime as the old gs benchmark more or less.
But the correct play is not to signet one or the other but to adapt depending on the situation.
It is not hard to signet Sword 5 in one loop and then signet Spear 4 in the other.
A Spear loop can easily be adapted.
For reference a Signet Spear loop looks like this:
24523 - Autos - 2 - Autos - 4 - Signet - 24 - Weapon Swap
If you did carry over Clarity you just do 42523 in the beginning.
But why play with boon uptime?
The truth is that we vastly overstacked both quickness and alacrity with Greatsword doing as much as 175-180% without considering the contribution from CS, so sacrificing some for more damage when it is this significant of a difference is acceptable in my eyes.
Regarding Relics:
Relic of the Claw is a new surprise out of the expansion, it works well with the innate amount of cc we have in rotations, especially if we play with Well of Senility.
If you play with Well of Action and need to save F3 then consider playing Fireworks.
Thief is always a safe fallback for some DPS loss.
Weapon Variations include:
Dagger/Focus - Spear; used for the strong pull in Temporal Curtain (Focus 4)
Sword/Sword - Spear; if you do not have SoTo, this will be a 10% DPS loss or so.
Stay tuned for weapon variation benches!
As always, Mesmer has very powerful utility skills in its disposal which should be utilized.
Including but not limited to:
* Blink for mobility.
* Feedback for reflects, or ethereal fields.
* Mantra of Concentration for Stability.
* Mantra of Distraction for more breakbar damage.
* Mass Invisibility for squad-wide stealth.
* Mimic for repeating skills like Portal or Blink, or anything.
* Portal for portaling the squad around.
* Signet of Humility for fast and modifiable cc (works with Sigil of Paralyzation).
* Well of Action for 8 Might and 40% Fury.
* Well of Precognition for Aegis.
* Well of Senility for breakbar damage.
Swap out skills in this order: Mantra, Senility/Action, Calamity
This benchmark is done using Stretched Time to show that upkeeping alacrity on yourself can be easily done even despite the personal penalty imposed by Improved Alacrity, even without using all the F keys in Continuum Split.

Graph comparing variants: plotly.com/~Tipcat/34
Just felt like benching something, details below.
Why play this variant?
* Brings a focus for pulls by default
* Deals more damage than the GS variant due to not being affected by a bug
en-forum.guildwars2.com/topic/126792-bug-mirror-blades-bounce-behavior
Why not to play this variant?
* You output significantly less boons without a greatsword
Quickness (STM) will do about 130% outgoing output compared to GS's 180%.
** READ **
Unless you 100% know what you are doing, I would really, really not recommend trying to play Alacrity with this variant even with Disenchanter it is rough to maintain 100% Alacrity on yourself because of the penalty.
Overall, I could probably grind this a tiny bit further but Spear is going to change a lot of things when Janthir Wilds releases in 17 days, so this is mainly to showcase its potential.

I have a higher number using basically the same rotation but I forgot to record that one so I'm linking both logs.
I might check out Boon Chronomancer with Spear I expect a grinded number to be slightly over 37k or just about 37k.
But I also want to do some raid bosses with the weapon I have spent all free time these past days on the golem lol.
- Spear thoughts and rotation -
Spear is a very interesting weapon with a lot of flexibility, you can do a lot of minor adjustments to take advantage of various clarity effects without losing too much dps as long as you empower the spear 4 whenever it's up.
Spear 5 also resets the cooldown of Spear 2 in the aftercast which leads into this opener which is sort of an homage to how old Signet of the Ether worked even if it doesn't have the same impact.
I might write more in this description later but I'm tired atm.
Check back later maybe.

I'm a fan of doing Spear CS first but I know some others have been doing Sword cs first with good results.
Cemox has a 43.2k already so I think 44k might be possible with more optimization
Spear is overall a really interesting weapon that has a nice flow to it.
Some tidbits:
* Spear autos are currently the best auto-attacks on mesmer with a slight win over autos
* Phantasmal Lancer phantasms grant you Fencer's Finesse stacks
* You can enter CS during Mind the Gap's (Spear 2) aftercast similar to what I used on Dagger 2
I might update this description later.

This was to provide more data on the % of which you get unique ancestrals from buying weapon shards from the vendor in Ruins of Mortium.
It is about 15% for unique and 85% for generic ancestrals, with my data from this video.

Sadly I didn't get to fight Dracula pre-nerfs.
But I've got to say V Rising is definitely my game of the year, it has amazing combat, fun base building and plenty more!
What is brutal?
Brutal mode gives the bosses more health, damage, levels but more importantly new mechanics and phases.

Due to weird/buggy behaviour with Mirror Blade (Greatsword 2)'s bounces, we lose a lot of damage whenever playing with a Greatsword.
Therefore, its damage will usually always be lower on real fights due to losing hits.
The Mirror Blade bug: en-forum.guildwars2.com/topic/126792-bug-mirror-blades-bounce-behavior
Dagger/Sword - Sword/Focus should be higher in most scenarios.
Exceptions being:
* Frequent burst fights; Greatsword is still better at bursting in short time frames.
* Fights where you lose hits of your warden phantasm due to random adds or mechanics that have a hitbox, while you don't need the focus pull.
Graph to illustrate the differences more clearly:
plotly.com/~Tipcat/29
Regarding Gear:
I highly recommend, as does most highly competent Chronomancer players, that if you run just one set that you default to the Force/Impact setup instead of Force/Accuracy, as it is far more versatile than the latter.
Because:
* Impact is better wherever its second bonus (7% strike dmg) is active, which is primarily fractals.
* Easy swapping to a Force + Impact/Slaying/Night/Bloodlust/Paralyzation setup, as you cannot do that with a Force/Accuracy setup. Stacking damage modifiers (Force/Night + Bloodlust/Night) is also better than Night/Accuracy + Bloodlust/Accuracy
* Force/Accuracy is only 200-250 dps better than Force/Impact, it is not worth losing the flexibility over that amount.
As always, Mesmer has very powerful utility skills in its disposal which should be utilized.
Including but not limited to:
* Blink for mobility.
Swap out skills in this order: Mantra, Phantasmal Disenchanter, Calamity
Some of you who might have seen the preliminary benchmark might wonder why I upload this when it's only like 60 dps higher.
The ending is a bit weird here and the rotational improvements aren't shown their proper justice.
In the old benchmark we lost the Thief modifier just before shattering F1 which is quite bad, also shatters are bit more optimized here than the previous rotation.
With this rotation our Thief uptime is at 99.9% (from 94.4%)
I have gotten a 41,808 but I forgot to hit record.
If someone really wanted to grind this for eternity I think you could get really lucky and hit close to 42k or just 42k but at that point you aren't grinding execution but rng luck.

I have a lucky 35,100 but that rotation wasn't as clean so I decided to upload this one instead.
The Mirror Blade bug puts this at 33.7k.
The Mirror Blade bug: en-forum.guildwars2.com/topic/126792-bug-mirror-blades-bounce-behavior
This is a slightly more optimized version of the previous rotation.
Credits to [SC] @AngleGW2 for the initial idea to this improved rotation, that me and @cemox2844 then improved further upon.
There also was a change to how shatters makes use of weapon strength that added ~200 dps.
What specifically changed was that we skip over one 3 clone F2 in order to get another F1 in, by doing this it just so aligns that we also get another F1 before Continuum Split so we gain 2 casts of F1 with this.
This also results in a slightly easier second Continuum Split, as we no longer enter on the aftercast of Dagger 2.
Though, notably, shatters are bit more tight with this rotation.
There are other minor changes but these are the big ones.
Regarding Gear:
I highly recommend, as does most highly competent Chronomancer players, that if you run just one set that you default to the Force/Impact setup instead of Force/Accuracy, as it is far more versatile than the latter.

* Force/Accuracy is only 200-250 dps better than Force/Impact, it is not worth losing the flexibility over that amount.
Weapon variations include:
Dagger/Focus - Greatsword (6.5% dps loss); used for the Focus pull which can be immensely valuable.
Dagger/Sword - Rifle; if you need the utility from Rifle.
If you do not have Weaponmaster training from Secrets of the Obscure then you should replace Dagger with Sword, this is about a 10% DPS loss.
youtu.be/XYEFMAmqwwE?si=zYVzzV_oijTy93SC
We upkeep around 175% Quickness/Alacrity on others, 117% Alacrity on ourselves with the Improved Alacrity penalty, all with 0% boon duration! Notably, this is without Continuum Split!
This build opts for Well of Senility as it is technically slightly better on the golem but Well of Action is usually always better on real fights as you will prevent any drops in might, so it should be defaulted to unless you really need the CC from Well of Senility.
With Well of Action we provide 8 stacks of Might, and 90% Fury (along with the Master Fencer trait).
Specifically, Well of Senility is 40 ms faster than Well of Action but does, otherwise, the same amount of damage.
The general structure of the loops:
Dagger:
2 Phantasmal Swordsmen (Sword 5)
3 Bladecalls (Dagger 2)
2 Unstable Bladestorms (Dagger 3)
Greatsword:
3 Phantasmal Berserkers (Greatsword 4)
2 Mind Stabs (Greatsword 3)
3 Mirror Blades (Greatsword 2)
As always, Mesmer has very powerful utility skills in its disposal which should be utilized.
Including but not limited to:
* Blink for mobility.
* Feedback for reflects, or ethereal fields.
* Mantra of Concentration for Stability.
* Mantra of Distraction for more breakbar damage.
* Mass Invisibility for squad-wide stealth.

This benchmark is done using Stretched Time to show that upkeeping alacrity on yourself can be easily done even despite the personal penalty imposed by Improved Alacrity, even without using all the F keys in Continuum Split.

Power Support Chronomancer: https://dps.report/VFzq-20231126-200458_golem
Do you think Chronomancer is really difficult? Maybe this will change your mind a little bit :D
Just by doing this simplified loop you can reach 90 to 95% on both DPS and Support Power Chronomancer
Even if you were to include taking your time with Signet of the Ether and Mind Stab (GS 3), in order to not cancel anything you could easily land above 90%
You also provide full alacrity uptime on yourself as Support Chronomancer without using Continuum Split just by doing this.
While it is true that Continuum Split can be mechanically demanding and sometimes a bit complex, you can still reach high numbers without putting countless hours into mastering it.
If anything I would advise you to learn a simplified version of an opening Continuum Split as it useful for both damage and for providing a burst of boons if you are playing Support Chronomancer.
General rotation for the 'simplified' loop.
Opener:
Phantasmal Disenchanter (If you have it)
Unstable Bladestorm (Dagger 3)
Phantasmal Swordsman (Sword 5)
Bladecall (Dagger 2)
Weapon Swap
Greatsword:
Phantasmal Berserker (Greatsword 4)
Signet of the Ether
Phantasmal Berserker (Greatsword 4)
Mirror Blade (Greatsword 2)
Mind Stab (Greatsword 3)
Auto-Attacks as Filler
Mirror Blade (Greatsword 2)

Auto-Attacks as Filler
Bladecall (Dagger 2)
Auto-Attacks as Filler
Bladecall (Dagger 2)
Phantasmal Swordsman (Sword 5)

Generally, you should prioritse weapon skills over utility skills.
Cast Shatters with the following priority: F1, F2
Cast Mantra of Pain off-cooldown
Cast Wells and/or Phantasmal Disenchanter off-cooldown, unless near the end of a weapon swap then delay them.
If I feel motivated I might make a more in-depth video guide later.

Shield Log: https://dps.report/G7Xh-20231114-172903_golem
Main Video: youtu.be/Z8Ni8RZ458k
These shouldn't be seen as benchmarks but more like rotation examples with some effort put into them as I did grind a little bit but it doesn't really compare to dedicated benchmarks.
If you wanted to bench both separately I believe you could reach slightly higher numbers, but this is more to bring awareness to these weapons and how they function currently.
Focus:
Bring this for the amazing pull on Focus 4 - Into the Void.
The rotation is fairly similar except we just skip casting another phantasm on the dagger set.
Shield:
Honestly I would be hard pressed to ever run shield in its current state.
It's main selling point, additional might, does not really function without excessive boon duration.
This is due to it providing only 15 seconds of might or 16.5 if you swap your Impact sigil over to a Concentration Sigil but we cast Tides of Time (Sh 5) every 18 seconds or later on average.
Leading to might uptimes of 83.3% or 91.6% with concentration.
So we just casually lose over 3k DPS for dysfunctional might
Some options to buff shield are:
1. Buff might duration to 20 seconds or reduce the cooldown slightly, this fixes the might issue and is the bare minimum I would expect as a buff.
2. Re-introduce the Alacrity/Quickness on Tides of Time with Stretched Time or Seize the Moment traited.
This change wouldn't really make Shield overpowered as it is a rather large dps loss but it would make it an ultra-safe option for people who want that and gives it more situational use cases.

0:05 Focus Rotation
2:21 Shield Rotation
4:46 Gear and Traits
With Fireworks being nerfed and a weapon strength bug being introduced in the September patch that has now been fixed in the November 7 Patch, I decided to redo the benchmark.
Additionally we won't see any changes aimed at power support Chronomancer in the November 28 patch, at least not this variant of it so this will apply for the upcoming balance patch.
We might see a revitalization of the old Dueling/Inspi or even Dueling/Chaos build if the utility proves to be worth it but no changes to our overall damage have been made in the patch notes.
wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Upcoming_changes_and_features/2023-11-28
I still believe Fireworks to be superior in short phases but Thief is a lot more consistent, thus it is the new default option after the nerf.
If you want to optimize you can refer to my old rotation if you are curious on how to make use of the Fireworks relic.
I run Well of Senility in this benchmark because its cast time is one server tick faster (40 ms) than Well of Action but I still believe that Well of Action should be the default because it is often the case that Might uptime is not perfect and having more people contributing to Might is good.
This benchmark is done using Stretched Time to show that upkeeping alacrity on yourself can be easily done even despite the personal penalty imposed by Improved Alacrity, even without using all the F keys in Continuum Split.
We provide 8 stacks of Might and 90% fury with the setup with Well of Action, along with either permanent alacrity or quickness via a trait swap (Stretched Time or Seize the Moment), which is even easier than before to maintain with more clones from dagger.
Some people have been asking about Ethering on Sword instead of Greatsword.
I believe that Ethering Sword is slightly higher DPS in the end, just 100 to 200 more at most, but the disadvantage being that you generate less boons so it has been discussed in the Mesmer community and most people now agree that Ethering Greatsword is just plain better.
Because generating more boons leads to a higher success rate in encounters than doing 0.58% more damage as a Support build.
Nevertheless, I have an example video of a decently grinded Ether Sword rotation:
youtu.be/RO1Z4AlK5MU
A graph for comparing:
chart-studio.plotly.com/~Tipcat/23
The rotation is mostly the same as before with minor improvements to the second Continuum Split.
We enter the aforementioned Continuum Split in the aftercast of Dagger 2, this gives us the clone but still resets dagger 2 after Continuum Split ends.
All-in-all this just gives us another Dagger 2 cast and if you find it too hard to execute you can just do the old second cs from my old video.
I also opt to cast the wells after weaponswapping instead of after directly exiting as this lets us weapon swap earlier.
The general structures of the loops:
Dagger:
2 Phantasmal Swordsmen (Sword 5)
3 Bladecalls (Dagger 2)
2 Unstable Bladestorms (Dagger 3)
Greatsword:
3 Phantasmal Berserkers (Greatsword 4)
2 Mind Stabs (Greatsword 3)
3 Mirror Blades (Greatsword 2)
As always, Mesmer has very powerful utility skills in its disposal which should be utilized.
Including but not limited to:
* Portal for portaling the squad around
* Mantra of Concentration for Stability
* Well of Precognition for Aegis
* Feedback for reflects
* Mantra of Distraction for more breakbar damage
* Well of Senility for even more breakbar damage
* Blink for mobility
* Mass Invisibility for squad-wide stealth
* Mimic for certain situations
* Signet of Humility for fast and modifiable cc, with Sigil of Paralyzation.
In fights with frequent and/or large breakbars it is recommened that you swap out your Sigils of Impact for Sigils of Paralyzation as speeding up breakbars often is a bigger damage increase than the bonus from the Impact sigil, especially when we consider that our phantasms aren't affected by Sigil of Impact.

Thoughts on the expansion:
Overall, I do not like that we are now using dagger and that it is so much stronger than Sword mainhand, which I estimate to bench around 33k with the expansion buffs.
Sword mainhand can still offer some utility through its evade with Blurred Frenzy (Sword 2), or its mobility via Illusionary Leap → Swap (Sword 3) but in general that will never see that much use.
I long for the times where we had more weapon versatility on Power Chronomancer, nay, Power Mesmer in general.
Greatsword is so dominant with 9 (3x gs 2 & 6x gs4) clones and 6 phantasms per loop in terms of both damage and boon generation and now we have Dagger which is just superior in almost every way to its alternatives just like Greatsword is.
We still have the issues with Mirror Blade being bugged which causes us to lose hits, if we take the average of 2 hits per mirror blade cast we would be dealing 33.1k dps.
en-forum.guildwars2.com/topic/126792-bug-mirror-blades-bounce-behavior
If the game continues to go down this path balance wise this might be my last patch cycle where I bench as I just don't find that fun anymore.
Anyhow, venting aside, some information about the rotation.
This benchmark is done using Stretched Time to show that upkeeping alacrity on yourself can be easily done even despite the personal penalty imposed by Improved Alacrity, even without using all the F keys in Continuum Split.
We provide 8 stacks of Might and 90% fury with this default setup along with either permanent alacrity or quickness via a trait swap (Stretched Time or Seize the Moment), which is even easier than before to maintain with more clones from dagger.
We utilize the Fireworks relic, for 10% more strike damage for 6 seconds, which can be triggered with the following:
* Rewinder (F2)
* Time Sink (F3)
* Distortion (F4)
* Continuum Split (F5)
* Illusionary Wave (GS5)
In this rotation I do not use F3 or F4 to trigger Fireworks as I believe they have more value being used for utility, breaking defiance bars and avoiding damage respectively.
If the need for their utility isn't there then feel free to use them for slightly more Fireworks uptime.
The general structures of the loops:
Dagger:
2 Phantasmal Swordsmen (Sword 5)
3 Bladecalls (Dagger 2)
2 Unstable Bladestorms (Dagger 3)
Greatsword:
3 Phantasmal Berserkers (Greatsword 4)
2 Mind Stabs (Greatsword 3)
3 Mirror Blades (Greatsword 2)
1 Illusionary Wave (Greatsword 5)
As it was before, Mesmer has very powerful utility skills in its disposal which should be utilized.
Including but not limited to:
* Portal for portaling the squad around
* Mantra of Concentration for Stability
* Well of Precognition for Aegis
* Feedback for reflects
* Mantra of Distraction for more breakbar damage
* Well of Senility for even more breakbar damage
* Blink for mobility
* Mass Invisibility for squad-wide stealth
* Mimic for certain situations
Swap out skills in this order for them:
1. Mantra of Pain
2/3. Well of Action (if no one is reliant on your might or fury)
3/2. Well of Calamity
You can drop the off-hand sword for:
* Focus, for pulls, for a dps loss of about 3.36%.
* Pistol, for slightly more cc, for a dps loss of about 4.1%
* Shield, for might, for a dps loss of about 6.05%
Additionally, we can swap out Time Catches Up for Delayed reactions; if more cc is needed (50 defiance bar damage per second via slow), or All's Well That Ends Well; for a slight amount of healing through wells.
If you should struggle upkeeping boons then feel free to swap your Impact sigil to Concentration sigil, however this should only be a band-aid solution not a permanent one as we provide around 170% upkeep of quickness & alacrity (less on ourselves but still more than comfortable)
This means that we vastly overstack and upkeeping boons should be really easy.

No arc so no log :c
We played this composition primarily for comfort as we played this when we first cleared the normal mode too.
I think Condition Virtuoso is better overall but Power Virtuoso does bring more boon strip with close to no DPS loss.
It took us about 2 hours to clear, we started at 8 PM CEST and took a break at some point.
Overall, I enjoyed this challenge mode, but it was a bit annoying that you had to spread so often.
According to the patch notes it should reduce his recharge speed like chill would on a player:
"Breaking the final boss's defiance now reduces the recharge speed of his skills for several seconds."

My personal view on the patch:
I'm not particularly happy with them getting rid of Shield as the default option for support Chronomancer.
I think they could've kept the old iteration of Seize the Moment and copied that over to Stretched Time while slightly increasing the duration of alacrity/quickness gained from shattering clones if they wanted to reduce utility spam to upkeep alacrity.
This way you would be able to play Sword and Focus with the same gear but it would be more challenging to upkeep boons.
At the same time, Shield would be the ultra-safe option that would be recommended to beginners but also with situational use for more experienced Chronomancers to upkeep boons while going away from the squad and so on, or as an option if you feel like being lazy.
As it is right now Shield is not going to see much use, you can do an alternate rotation and upkeep around 16 might (to be frank, you will still have minor drops) with it.
This can be easily fixed by increasing Might duration to 20 seconds but it still feels like a weak weapon to me.
I also personally liked the design of the Grandmaster traits amplifying the elite specialization weapon and think that is a good fit going into Weaponmaster training in the Secrets of the Obscure expansion.
Elite Specializations having some unique interaction with their own weapon but it shouldn't make or break the weapon, which this interaction wouldn't.
The shield would still see use by Mirage and Virtuoso by providing blocks in PvP while keeping it usable for Chronomancer in PvE.
Other than that, as mentioned in the note, Seize the Moment & Stretched Time is currently bugged and provides 3 seconds per phantasm instead of the 2 seconds that the tooltip suggests.
This should probably remain, and the tooltip should be increased since their intention seems to be that you should be able to do the same things regardless of if you are providing alacrity or quickness.
Whereas if you only had 2 seconds of alacrity per phantasm you would need boon duration to upkeep alacrity on yourself since we get a penalty from Improved Alacrity.
Other than that I have some issues with them homogenizing and making the game easier but that is somewhat beside the point.
I want good game design first and foremost which I don't really think the current iteration is.
Build details:
We have the option to provide either Alacrity or Quickness by swapping between Stretched Time and Seize the Moment, making us flexible in compositions as long as the other boon provider upkeeps the majority of the might.
This build upkeeps 8 might and around 90% fury by default.
While having the option to drop Mantra of Pain for a small DPS loss for additional utility.
Additionally, you can drop either Well of Action, if no one is reliant on your 8 might or fury, or Well of Calamity if people are reliant on your 8 Might or Fury.
Some utility options are:
* Portal Entre for portaling the squad around.
* Mantra of Concentration for Stability.
* Well of Precognition for Aegis.
* Feedback for reflects.
* Mantra of Distraction for more Breakbar damage.
* Blink for mobility.
* Mass Invisibility for squad-wide Stealth.
You can drop the off-hand sword for:
* Focus, for pulls, for a dps loss of about 3.36%.
* Pistol, for slightly more cc, for a dps loss of about 4.1%
* Shield, for might, for a dps loss of about 6.05%
We can also swap out Time Catches Up for Delayed Reactions to provide slightly more CC via Slow (50 defiance bar damage per second) or provide some extra healing via All's Well That Ends Well since we have 3 wells by default.
This comes at a very minimal DPS loss since Time Catches Up only affects the first strikes of our F1, making it effectively a 5% damage increase on our main damage shatter instead of 10%.
While the boon generation is very generous with 3 seconds per phantasm or even at 2 seconds per phantasm (with the exception of Stretched Time), should you still struggle with boon uptime you can easily replace Impact with Concentration sigil for a very small DPS loss.

Still adjusting to playing Druid outside of benchmark scenarios but this wasn't too bad for a pug kill.

I ran "We Heal As One" here as there is plenty of damage to heal on Gorseval.

Build & Rotation notes:
As the note at the beginning of the video says we are reliant on Astral Force to deal damage.
We generate Astral Force whenever we deal damage (individual hits) or heal something, via the trait 'Celestial Being'.
Another source of Astral Force is the passive generation from Natural Mender, this gives us 8 Astral Force every 3 seconds.
So we always have some Astral Force coming in with the passive generation and the individual damage hits but we can't always gain Astral Force from healing which can lead to us not having enough to enter Celestial Avatar when we want to.
Personally, I find a dynamic rotation very intriguing and fun to play.
Anyhow, how can we generate more Astral Force in real fights?
As I was alluding to at the beginning of the video we can replace "We Heal As One" with either Water Spirit or Healing Spring.
Water Spirit is the safe option as it's just a burst heal to 5 people.
Healing Spring can be more Astral Force generation but the issue is that actual healers with stronger regeneration will overwrite our regeneration buff, so make sure there are no other regeneration sources in your subgroup before using this skill.
The rotation revolves around optimizing the uptime of the Natural Balance buff that we gain from entering and exiting Celestial Avatar as that is 10% Condition damage and duration.
We want to ideally, more or less, enter Celestial Avatar off-cooldown and whenever we have enough Astral Force as the buff itself plus the skills inside Celestial Avatar are quite powerful.
A trick used in this benchmark is that Celestial Avatar does not cancel utility skills (incl. heal & elite) if you enter while casting, this allows us to make the CA loops more efficient because if we were to not do this we would just spend time doing nothing while we wait for our second CA2.
Beware that CA does cancel weapon skills though.
A major source of our damage is the Blood Moon trait which inflicts bleeding whenever we immobilize or disable an enemy, this is why we run something like Signet of the Wild because it inflicts 4 stacks of immobilize, which translates to 8 stacks of bleeding via Blood Moon.
The internal cooldown on Blood Moon refers to the daze it provides on entering Celestial Avatar and not the bleeding portion.
Poison Master is currently bugged and will not trigger most of the time if you have the pet ability (F2) on auto-cast so it's recommended to turn this off.
Even without the bug, it would still be prudent to not enable auto-cast as the pet might cast it on random enemies that it locks onto.
Jacaranda is the best DPS pet for this build as the Jacaranda active skill 'Jacaranda's Embrace' will trigger Blood Moon 4 times for about 43,000 damage per cast, this makes it unparalleled in terms of damage output among pets.
You should make use of your secondary pet for CC or Utility.
Stone Gazelle, Electric Wyvern, White Tiger...
If you want to replace a utility skill for something else it is first recommended to swap Signet of the Wild and then Spike Trap.
The basic concept if you are lacking Astral Force is to stay on Shortbow for slightly longer and try to keep the time you spend on axe to a minimum, as axe autos are terrible.
As you get used to this build you should start to see how and when you can Celestial Avatar most effectively.
Another precast done, that I didn't mention in the note, is dodging twice for Light on your Feet.
This is also a very minimal damage buff as we are already capped on bleeding duration provided we upkeep Natural Balance, since the majority of our damage is from bleeding it is not worth using Quick Shot (SB 3) inside the rotation.
You can however proc Light on your Feet via dodging and/or Quick Shot in downtime or between phases to gain a small amount of DPS as we also do some burning and poison damage.
(The damage modifier from Light on your Feet is power/strike damage only)

If you need a free utility slot then you can use this setup instead: youtu.be/OzEliSa2nTg
You can grind execution and Mirror Blade rng a bit more to get a slightly higher number but my main goal was to show a rotation for the focus variant of Alacrity Chronomancer.
I also included an alternate opener towards the end that provides minimally more alacrity.
The issue with the alternate opener is that you overcap alacrity since the max alacrity time limit is 30 seconds so you get minimal value from the additional well, but it could serve a purpose in some cases.
Also, you can include a sword 3 before the second cs which allows you to use all wells inside the continuum split providing slightly more alacrity there as well.
However, the additional well essentially replaces the Tides of Time (Shield 5).
This means that our alacrity output is around 120-130% which is the same output as shield, so it's just as easy to provide alacrity.

This project officially started on the 15 of January.
After a lot of iterating over strategy and 1446 pulls, maybe 1300 were proper runs, this is the result.
We present to you the first ever sub-4-minute Qadim speedkill.
There were still some quirks we could've figured out and we estimated that we could get 3:55 at most if everything worked out.
However, this was still really good.
In this speedkill, I played Alacrity Chronomancer to provide Alacrity and portals for the Bladesworns, so they could portal bomb Qadim plus the Pyre and get around faster.
Residual Alacrity was also given to my subgroup, while also kiting.
I hope you enjoy the annotations and let me know if you have any questions regarding the kill!
Regarding weapon choice:
Greatsword is an obvious pairing to any weapon due to how strong it is for DPS, it is also crucial to having an easy time kiting as Chronomancer due to its range.
Scepter/Shield is a bit less obvious.
Scepter provides unique conditions to the Daredevils through Torment, Confusion and Blind.
It also allows you prestack a large amount of clones which made it more consistent to strip boons on Qadim with Shattered Concentration.
Lastly, Confusing Images is quite a strong skill provided you don't get stuck auto-attacking too much on Scepter.
Since we don't have any way to trigger Fencer's Finesse and get no use of its cooldown reduction we freely swap this trait to provide additional blind for the Daredevils.
The Shield provides extra alacrity for the subgroup and to you, which in turns buffs your damage decently via Improved Alacrity's damage modifier.
The block added safety when placing portals.
Regarding the traits:
Since Qadim always has boons on him with our setup and most pug group setups you get minimal value from Vicious Expression, especially since you will not be dealing damage to the adds as a kiter and killing the elementals is free.
Thus, you can buff your shatter damage by taking Mental Anguish, also you get to gamble on 25% additional damage if you shatter while the boss is inactive.
Dueling traits were explained above in the weapon section and are self-explanatory otherwise.
Chronomancer; Time Catches Up is really a 5% damage increase to your main damaging shatter, being Split Second, since it only applies to the first hits of the split second and not the second activation of the skill.
So we opt into taking Delayed Reaction to provide more slow for the Daredevils.
The rest of the traits are standard Alacrity traits.

Turns out I had some energy left after coming back from the thing I had to do after publishing the preliminary rotation so new video today instead.
Notes:
So, a completely new rotation for support Chronomancer.
We now do the reverse rotation that some of you might be familiar with if you've played Power Chronomancer with Greatsword.
This allows us to do a much more efficient loop.
With this rotation, you can freely swap Gravity Well since you do not need it to provide Alacrity, and you can even provide about 12.5% Quickness uptime or more with Time Warp. Blasphemous, I know.
Gravity Well is still great for damage and CC so it's the default choice anyway.
Other than that we provide around 14-15 stacks of Might, permanent Alacrity, near-permanent Fury, and around 26% Swiftness.
As well as providing a small amount of Protection if we use Echo of Memory (Shield 4).
To do this you want to block an attack instantly and then stow it.
It's even a DPS increase if you stow it before 0.55 seconds have elapsed!
Similar optimizations from the Quickness variant when it comes to shield loops.
You optimize loop times with Sword auto #1s and try to end loops with Blurred Frenzy to carry over Fencer's Finesse stacks.
When it comes to Greatsword you want to align well casts so you waste minimal time between wells and greatsword skills.
Refer to the list found on the quickness variant for details about optimizing.
Found here: youtu.be/qJVFie0XZOQ

This is a rotation showcase if you would want to give more might as Chronomancer.
It gives 15 might pre-second cs, since using the cs makes us delay our next sh5.
While in longer fights you will end up giving closer to 14 stacks of might due to the second cs.
Overall, this gives permanent quickness, fury, 14-15 might and 27% swiftness.
We can also give a small amount of protection in real fights if we block an attack quickly with Echo of Memory/Deja Vu (Sh4), and then stow it after the phantasm is summoned, otherwise it's a dps loss.
It's not really applicable in a golem rotation though since you can't block anything.
For more details about the general rotation check out my Quickness benchmark and its description!
