YulianI initially had nothing to do with this project, but sadly had to sub for Frosterid on the final evening, who now has to upload one of his previous attempts.
I probably wouldn't go as far and say that this was optimised from start to finish. We were working on a few projects at the same time and suddenly had to drop everything else, as soon as we heard that there is a balance patch coming.
Anyway, Chronomancers had two simple jobs here: Provide Aegis and Quickness. Aegis for blocking Annihilate and Mind Crush, at least whenever Precognition's cooldown allowed it. We used Time Warps for providing Quickness to everyone during important burst-windows and I filled a few gaps with Well of Action. Additionally, I had the pleasure of running Defender for increasing the up-time on Superiority Complex and providing an additional unique condition for the Holosmiths.
I'll admit that the rotation looks a bit weird. This is partially due to the fact that this was the first time I had to run this setup, but mostly because Unnatural Signet gives you a ten second burst-window which you have play around. Sadly two players downed, which threw my timings a bit off, but all in all I'm quite pleased that I could pick this up so quickly and wasn't a burden to the group.

Sadly it's also currently bugged and we had to do the achievements for one person at a time... It appears that only the instance-owner gets credit for achievements, unless they leave before the encounter starts and another persons joins in the meantime — then the person who newly joined gets credit for the achievements.
Note that we went for "Gaze into the Void" which requires her to absorb six minions before she dies — each minion granting her incoming damage reduction and increased outgoing damage. That makes the fight feel like an eternity, especially if you have to repeat nine times for other people.
The build I played is a bit unusual, but essentially it's 71% Quickness Duration which allows you to drop "Feel My Wrath!". I usually use this build on bosses where I want both Stability from Mantra of Liberation and something else like Sanctuary — think about Gorseval and Slothasor as examples.
Quickness Firebrand has access to a lot of utility that can make this fight easier: *Cleanses from Purging Flames, Cleansing Flame, Tome of Resolve, Mantra of Lore, and a million Light Fields to deal with those pesky conditions — I cleansed 540 Conditions in nine minutes. *Permanent Resolution through Mantra of Solace and Mantra of Liberation, which helps with incoming damage. *On-demand Stability from Mantra of Liberation and Tome of Courage.

Note that I used Superior Rune of the Flame Legion, while they were already better previously, the difference has slightly increase since they nerfed the damage from conditions. You can use Superior Rune of Balthazar instead for a loss of roughly 0.5%.
Music: Battle! Solgaleo/Lunala - Pokémon Masters EXGuild Wars 2: Firebrand - Healer | 5,934Yulian2022-03-13 | Just wanted to show what a Heal Firebrand rotation could look like. Obviously you have to adapt to the encounters, but your priority should be keeping everyone alive while providing boons.
You don't need Fire Fields to maintain Might, but they make it easier.
Music: Battle! Shauntal (Unova Challenge) - Pokémon Masters EXGuild Wars 2: Firebrand - Celestial Healer | 16,502 and ~18,000 with AlliesYulian2022-03-11 | This build is similar to how Condition Druid compared to Harrier Druid: It's an offensive healer that can be either used when your group already has a healer or as a solo healer when there is low pressure.
It provides every boon except for Alacrity, Vigor and Regeneration — though Symbols through Writ of Persistence act as a form of Regeneration — while dealing a decent amount of damage.
Might (assuming Alacrity): 12 stacks from Empower every 16s. 5 stacks from Mantra of Potence every 7.6s, while the two additional charges should be used at the start to get 25 stacks quickly. The remaining stacks will be maintained by Empowering Might. You can blast your own Fire Fields (Purging Flames and Scorched Aftermath) with Holy Strike.
Quickness (assuming Alacrity): 26.04% uptime from Liberator's Vow. 32.55% uptime from Mantra of Potence — the additional charges act as a buffer. 12.37% uptime from "Feel My Wrath!".
The required Boon Duration is 40.91% and this build has 73%, allowing you to drop "Feel My Wrath!" for other skills. You can also drop Weighty Terms for Legendary Lore, to increase your damage and gain access to Regeneration. If that is too tight for you, then you can increase your Boon Duration further with Toxic Maintenance Oil, Concentration infusions or Sigil of Concentration.
Bow of Truth and Purging Flames can be swapped to whatever you might need, obviously sacrificing healing or damage in the process.

This fight looks amazing, introduced interesting and new mechanics, and is moderately difficult — which just makes me even more excited for the Challenge Mode.
I have barely meddled with Heal Firebrand before, but it should be able to maintain Might quite comfortably and therefore a suitable replacement for Druid. I just quickly threw something together before we started but will definitely think about optimal setups for future videos.
Music: youtu.be/pNKKkJF8FWwCnD | Qadim | ChronomancerYulian2022-02-16 | Since a few people frequently ask what Chronomancers can do on Qadim, I wanted to upload something that I use for our clears.
Note that I forgot to adjust the subgroups after Twin Largos. Ideally you want to isolate the Chronomancer, just in case that the 10-target Quickness is not enough. You also want to distribute the unique buffs equally.
Your main task is to provide Quickness for ten people. Tides of Time, Signet of Inspiration and Time Warp cover roughly 29 seconds (with Continuum Split) during the main phases. Seize the Moment helps with add phases.
Other than that, you can actually "tank" Qadim by being the closest to him. That ensures that everyone else is flanking and he doesn't smack the group. That only works for his basic attacks. You shouldn't have any trouble surviving with the plethora of blocks, evades and distortion you have. I run Defender runes to heal myself in case I accidentally take too much damage, but you can essentially run anything.
Portals are obviously a nice way to save time, especially before the final phase.

You probably noticed that I played Sword instead of Focus, which doesn't necessarily mean that it is better. Even after the buffs, it is difficult to incoporate Sword abilities into a rotation without delaying your Greatsword burst, costing you damage on every loop. I reckon Sword, as it is right now, can be useful for specific burst windows, but I played it for the aesthetics / feel rather than damage.
All in all, I feel like Willbender will be a nice addition once End of Dragons finally releases. It's good that they enabled a condition-based variant to have a selfish option instead of Firebrand, but I would appreciate it if they buffed the power variant a bit — especially considering that we currently have a hidden 10% damage modifier against chilled targets. Obviously there are some other things that require tweaking, but nothing too crazy.

Essentially, you gain Alacrity from attacking enemies during Flowing Resolve (F2) when traited with Phoenix Protocol, which you can then share via Battle Presence.
However, there are a handful of caviats: - You only share Alacrity in a radius of 180 around you, which requires tighter stacking compared to most other abilities / traits and you hardly ever stand still on Willbender. - You only share Alacrity with four other players, which makes it difficult to compete with Mirages and Renegade who can provide Alacrity for ten players. - You only share Alacrity when you are actively attacking, meaning that you cannot share it during transition phases where there is nothing to attack. - You hardly provide anything other than Alacrity. You provide some Fury, a fair amount of Defiance Bar Damage, and can have some fun with Perfect Inscriptions if you want. - You need Virtues to prove Alacrity, which means the majority of your damage comes from Unscathed Contender and Inspired Virtue. Unscathed Contender requires you to maintain Aegis, which isn't the easiest on many encounters especially when you are teleporting a lot. Inspired Virtue grants you a damage modifier whenever you active a Virtue and I think it is a bit finnicky to utilize it properly when your main focus is to maintain Alacrity. You want to maintain Flowing Resolve for the most part and given that Willbenders grant themselves additional Alacrity, it is hard at times to determine whether you can activate another Virtue without dropping Alacrity.

While they all play essentially the same, you definitely feel more agile on Willbender — whether or not that is extremely useful is up for debate.
*Insert obligatory statement about all the mistakes that the player made and how this could have been better* What can I say? I'm getting old.
Sadly, Focus seems to be stronger than Sword which is mainly because the cast time / cooldown of Executioner's Calling are awkward to deal with. I think everyone would appreciate Right-Hand Strength to also apply to your second sword and hopefully they will implement that change.
As per usual, Resolution is annoying to maintain which tanks your damage by a fair amount.

We replaced the Druid with a Soulbeast, and used a Mirage instead for Might and preventing us from burning to death. We brought Renegades for damage who also used excess Energy to provide Alacrity. The Scourge heroically tanked Sabetha and made sure that the bandits don't bully us.
Firebrands were there to provide Aegis, Fury and Quickness — nothing fancy.
My job here was to provide permanent Quickness throughout the fight while dealing as much damage as possible. Luckily, Seize the Moment is pretty potent and I only needed 10% from Sigil of Concentration to maintain it. The other option would be Sigil of Impact which, with a little bit of math, proves to be a horrible Sigil for this build. I traited Delayed Reactions to better maintain Slow which is more valuable than the minuscule DPS increase from Time Catches Up.

"The Raiding League is a large scale community raiding monthly event aiming to offer a fair competition to everyone, as well as promote raids and its community. The league offers an open, easy to join monthly event for guilds and teams to compete against each other. Two raid bosses get randomly drawn each month and registered teams must submit their fastest boss kill on both of them within a one week period of time. Teams are however required to set a one-hour official timer during which they'll be able to generate valid arcdps logs, they can have a variable amount of practice during the week but will always have a fair one-hour timer of logging."

Considering that I spent the past months mostly on Chronomancer and am a bit rusty on Guardian, I would have ideally prepared myself at least a little bit but this was very much a last minute thing. Shoutout to Pupsi and Ryan whose videos I watched during practise, so I wouldn't have to start from scratch and could figure things out quickly. Playing Guardian in such a serious environment again was quite exciting and I'd like to thank the fellows from [XVII] for having me.
I forgot to record after our first kill and therefore just uploaded our final attempt, which would have probably been roughly as quick as the official submission.

— Music — youtu.be/Gm2S3MyzgFQ[CnD] Cardinal Sabir — 2:31 | Support ChronomancerYulian2020-07-17 | In essence, I'm a glorified Quickness-dispenser while running a non-paid taxi service on the side.
My main responsibility was to provide Quickness to nine people through Seize the Moment. Because Seize the Moment is capped at five targets per shatter, everyone but me stacked either right or left of the Druid, so I could control to whom I applied Quickness and the amount I applied. On that note, both Berserker and Holosmith provide a fair amount of Quickness to themselves and we had a Time Warp for the start of every phase — which helped me out immensely.
Other than that I was responsible for the two most important portals and helping in breaking every Defiance Bar as quickly as possible — like everyone else I used a Sigil of Paralysation for that. I used a Greatsword because it is the superior weapon when it comes to generating clones, and I greatly enjoyed being able to attack the boss from the corners of the arena. It might look like I was a roleplaying at the end of the second phase, but I had to take the further updraft so I don't apply Weakness to the others — at that point, I thought I might as well make use of Spatial Surge dealing more damage the greater the distance between you and target is.
The one-clone Continuum Split at the start might look weird, but I had to leave it as quickly as possible so it can cool down almost entirely until the start of the final phase.
*These videos are not from the main record. The runs are virtually the same, but people either forgot to record, didn't notice that their drive reached capacity or found another recording being closer to what they wanted to show.
Archivist of Whispers turned out to be amazing for this encounter. The burn windows allow you to make perfect use of all eight pages and there is enough time between phases to regain charges of Sword of Justice, which you need if you don't want to sit in your tome and wait for cooldowns.
The Daredevils covered almost all boons, which meant that we didn't have to provide Quickness and that allowed us to pre-cast Ashes of the Just for every burn phase with Renewed Focus. The only boon which wasn't permanent was Might, which is why we traited Zealous Scepter. Losing the 7% modifier on power damage from Fiery Wrath was negligible as Qadim takes less power damage in two out of three phases, and our damage on the legendary bosses was sufficient — not having permanent uptime on Might would have been arguably worse anyway.
To assist in sustaining the group I ran Bow of Truth, while all of us either pre-casted Eternal Oasis or Shining River before every burn phase. Litany of Wrath was used mostly when the effects of our pre-casts wore off.
Replacing Grieving with Sinister resulted in a miniscule DPS increase as you prefer condition damage over anything else during the first two burn phases. I swapped to Toxic Focusing Crystals for the final phase because previously our scholar uptimes have been really low there, but this attempt something magical must have happened. *shrug*

Reddit Post — reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/esjjec/cnd_samarog_324 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DRAGONHUNTER SPECIFICS ► We used Scholar runes even though Thief runes would result in slightly higher effective power. Since the phases between Defiance Bars (at least in the first phase) were so short, we relied on getting a block after every Spear of Justice to reduce its cooldown. The additional damage we gained through that outweighed the miniscule amount of extra damage from Thief runes, as well as granting us more freedom in our movement. ► There is a weird (?) interaction of multiple Dragonhunters in the same subgroup casting Bane Signet at the same time, if traited with Perfect Inscriptions — when you cast it, you essentially give up every stack of Bane Signet that has been shared to you. Despite that interaction, all of us casting it at the same time was still the most effective way of handling it — in terms of Power shared and in terms of cc. ► Casting Spear of Justice at 33% might look a bit weird but, considering the timer we were going for, we would have had one guaranteed "weak burst" without Procession of Blades in that phase anyway. It made sense to have that "weak burst" at a point, where the rest of the group was least effective — saving three to four seconds on that bit. ► We used / saved Shield of Wrath to blast Soulcleave's Summit for extra might, mostly during the split phases. The problem is that a combo field can only be interacted with by five unique players, meaning that not always all three Dragonhunters could blast might.

General Strategy This record is based on what [SC] used a couple of months ago with some changes: ► Instead of providing stability through "Stand Your Ground!", our Renegades ran Jalis and used Inspired Reinforcement instead. Losing Shiro on both Renegades is most likely worse than not having Sword of Justice on a single Dragonhunter, but SYG's cooldown didn't work with the current phase timers. ► Dropping Shiro meant losing access to the additional CC from Jade Winds. Luckily, using IR also means gaining access to large lightning fields that you can leap in for a cheap daze. ► Slothasor casted Spore Release (Shake) only once during our run instead of twice. Since Distortion (F4) has been removed from Chronomancers, dealing with two Spore Releases got fairly annoying which is why we wanted to only have the single one in the final phase. That one was handled by the Chronomancer, who chained signets to distort himself, and by Dragonhunter's casting Shield of Courage.
Dragonhunter Specifics ► We played with different weapons based on the subgroup we were in. From what I can tell, sword should be better than scepter if you don't get fixated at a bad time. However, the subgroup with the Alacrity Renegade was lacking might compared to the other, which is why the Dragonhunters in there played with scepter. ► Regardless of the weapon used, all of traited Right-Hand Strength because we didn't rely on Healer's Retribution to maintain Retaliation. ► Test of Faith's initial damage is lower than the damage of any other trap, making it not worth to pre-cast. 2/3 of its is dealt when the enemy crosses the edge of the trap, but Slothasor's hitbox will already be inside the trap when the fight starts. ► I pre-casted Symbol of Energy as well, because it is tied with Symbol of Faith for second highest damage — with Symbol of Wrath dealing the highest damage.

The idea was to delay the first Defiance Bar to prevent adds from spawning. We used three Firebrands because we figured they would deal more damage than Dragonhunters, who won't receive Assassin's Presence, Soulcleave's Summit and Empower Allies.

A composition with a Thief and six Deadeyes would probably be two to three seconds faster, but I find playing Chronomancer a lot more enjoyable and I guess this is a more diverse composition.
[CnD] is recruiting! — http://bit.ly/cnd_recruitment[CnD] Qadim — 5:47 | Support ChronomancerYulian2019-08-14 | Balance Patch — 16th July 2019
Wing 6 hasn't been our priority for a while now, which is why we are using a Deadeye on Qadim to make kiting safer and more reliable. As far as I know, a Daredevil should pull ahead in the main phases — we simply wanted to show what our current strategy looks like.
Since you can't enter Continuum Split without clones anymore, we started buffing close to Qadim — we usually wouldn't use plasmas but we had some left from the previous attempt.
As for portals, we found out that it is best for the Chronomancers to leave early and place the portals where the pyres are going to spawn — you have enough time to get back to the squad in time and use the same portal both ways.
You'll find a few mistakes here and there, phases that could be a bit faster, but overall it was a good run.
