Since the release of the show, one of the cuter ships has been zestmilla, which is the pairing between zestial and carmilla. This ship was nearly sunk back in april when an amazon prime video mentioned that zestial is a father figure to carmilla, despite there clearly being romantic chemistry between the two characters in the show.

In a recent instagram livestream, zestial’s voice actor James Monroe Iglehart hinted at the pair getting together in the show. I’ll roll the clip.

In another clip one fan asked him to voice a clip for him, which james did.

Overall i think this is awesome. To me and most fans it was pretty clear that there was something going on between the two characters, so i’m glad that we’ll be seeing more of them. In particular i hope that the pair will get a duet in season 2.
