Recently in an interview with alastor’s voice actor amir talai, he revealed that there will be an unexpected surprise regarding alastor and his backstory in season 2. So what could it be?
So firstly it’s likely that it could relate to him as a human. Perhaps we’ll finally find out how he died and what got him in hell. We’ve known about alastor’s death for years because of what viv has said on live streams, but i think actually seeing it unfold on screen in a flashback would be amazing.
Amir did specify that there’ll be an unexpected surprise, so perhaps this could be a twist of some sort. I saw some fans speculating that perhaps we’ll see alastor’s parents. This is because during his song with lucifer, he specifies that sometimes a birth parent is a dud, but he doesn’t specify which parent. A popular fan theory for years is that alastor is a momma’s boy, based on how he interacts with other women in the show, how he rarely gets on with men, and him mentioning his mother’s jambalaya recipe in the pilot.
I think it would be an amazing twist to find out that alastor killed his parents, and this is what started his history as a serial killer.
