After the release of full moon fans have been discussing a potential plot hole. I’ll break it down.

So during the episode the cherubs mention the exorcists, i’ll break it down.

If you remember during hazbin hotel it was revealed that the exterminations were kept secret, and this was an important plot point later in the show with emily and sera.

So how did the cherubs know about the exterminations, is this a plothole?

Well i don’t think so.

We don’t know the exact timeline of the show, but it’s likely that helluva boss takes place after hazbin hotel season 1. This means that the cat is out of the bag and all of heaven knows about the exorcists.

Secondly The Exorcists are the military force of Heaven. The annual Extermination is what was kept secret from everybody. We can see this in hazbin hotel with lute and adam walking around in their armor and nobody bats an eye. The backlash only starts once it’s revealed they go down to hell annually to purge sinners.
