My review of Helluva Boss season 2 episode 8 full moon.
This episode was a mix of silly fun and heartbreaking scenes. It brought back some villains from season 1, while raising the stakes, especially with that cliffhanger ending.
My favourite parts were the parallels, like the happy duet at the beginning contrasted with the sad ending. Or the various references to season 2 episode 1, like the objects in stolas’s house being covered up.
It was great to see loona speaking again, and blitz hanging out with fizzy was adorable.
There were some issues however, the ending cliffhanger felt really abrupt, and the A and B plot should’ve been swapped. It would’ve been better to focus more on stolas and blitz, and tone down the cherub shenanigans a bit.
I’m excited for Apology Tour which will likely be an emotional rollercoaster.
