I will arrive at the West fork Saturday Moring, after my Friday night shift, arriving about 7am.
I will be riding a 1988 mountain bike and a lite pack of gear, but carrying drink and grubage to share with whoever shows.
The lot is the West fork parking lot, and the road is the road to the dam. It is gated and foot or bike traffic only, unless you live back there.
You'll need a fire permit if you intend to cook. It is a big site with the river right next to it. You can fish but it is artificials only, barbless and catch and release only.
You can go up Friday night if you like. Ill be up sat morning and after breakfast Sunday its back to work for me. Ill share some info with you, we can exchange stories and plan future outings.

DONT leave ANYTHING IN YOUR CAR AND LEAVE THE GLOVE BOX AND CENTER THING OPEN to show there's nothing of value to the thieves to take. Be sure to bring a small trash bag to carry out what you haul in and maybe a little extra as your "mountain stay rent" It's a chance to get away, see old friends, make new ones and just forget about the daily grind for a few hours.
