Good samaritans are hard to come by in China because they will often end up being sued by the person they are helping. Therefore, stories of accident victims being left by the side of the road, ignored by passers-by, often show up in the news.

But on Wednesday, Chinese media reported about a young girl who went with her instinct and asked her mum to help a woman in southern China who had fainted from the heat.

$Chinese Man Creates Own Bionic Arm Chinese Farmer Builds Own Bionic Arm Hey guys its me again, Chris Chappell. Ive got a little ditty for you that I think youre going to like. Ohhh, old mcdonald had a farm, eieio. And on that farm he built himself a pair of bionic arms, ei wha wha wha?! Okay guys, this is going to blow your mind. Kind of like how this guy got his arms blown off. Sun Jifa is just your typical Chinese farmer. He likes building his own bombs so he go blast fishing. Plenty of fish in the sea, right? Not if he has his way. Now, believe it or not, throwing bombs at poor little fishes is apparently really dangerous and Sun blew off both his arms doing it. And the fishies rejoiced. But this guys a farmer. Hes got work to do and a wife and three kids to take care of. So he spent the next 8 years building himself new arms. Pretty amazing considering her didnt have any hands or arms to make them with. Wires attach at his elbows let him open and close his, cold, steel, fingers. (show image of Nintendo power glove) He can pick up drinks, use a spoon, ohhh, he can use his cigarettes again. So maybe next he can make some bionic lungs for himself. Uhh is it good idea for him to be using a buzz saw with those?! Well, I mean I guess its not like he can lose any more fingers. You know that saying Whatever doesnt kill you only makes it stronger? Well in this case whatever doesnt kill you only makes you richer. Thats right, he is now in the bionic limb business, selling his homemade prosthetics for $500 a pop, a fraction of what prosthetic arms cost at a Chinese hospital.
