For years, I never bought a rice cooker because I already knew how to cook rice. I figured it was just another kitchen gadget I didn't need.
Then I finally bought one... and it completely changed my mind.
In this video, I look back at 12 homemade meals and desserts I made with my inexpensive Aroma rice cooker. Most of these recipes were my own experiments, and I was surprised at how easy, inexpensive, nutritious, and tasty they turned out.
Don't expect a Gordon Ramsay presentation—these are real meals made by an ordinary guy who likes simple cooking that almost anyone can do.
In this compilation, you'll see chicken stew, Kung Pao chicken, seafood dinners, macaroni and meatballs, carrot cake, goulash, barbecue fish, seafood surprise, lemon sesame cake, lentil stew, my cheapest rice cooker meal, and my favorite frozen chicken recipe.
If you're cooking for one or two people, on a budget, or just want meals that require very little effort and cleanup, an inexpensive rice cooker might become one of your favorite kitchen appliances too.
