Well over a year ago I made a Cigar Ashtray for my best friend. I did make a few pictures but nothing else. Recently I got a request to make another one and this time I have documented the whole process on video. There will be two video's; in this one I make the Ashtray itself and in the second video I will show how I made the aluminium casted inlay.
Making these Ashtrays is great fun but all in all it is a lot of work. Working on it off and on it took me two months to complete. Considering that, a 17 minute video is really cutting it short but here it is.
The video about making the casting will be posted shortly.
