Workpieces with segmented rings are for many people something that appears difficult to make. Not only do you have to be able to properly glue up the pieces in order to safely turn the piece but before you can do that you also need to cut your segments with a high degree of accuracy.
Still, if I can do it, most of you can certainly do it also! In this video I'm sharing my simple procedure for making a ring. I've settled for twelve segments because it is a nice, even number and twelve is enough to make the result look really good. I hope this helps to motivate a lot of people to finally give it a try and join our challenge for the month of March! Let me know what you think!
