From the moment I first saw them I wanted to make one myself. The biggest problem was getting the material to make the beard. Finding a nice piece of wood is not easy either but I managed to find a leftover piece of Walnut. This is all still from the tree I felled in 2019 and that wood is now becoming almost sacred (and rare). So it all worked out recently when I managed to buy a piece of fake fur (actually meant to be a rug) which was just right. When you live in NL, go to Action, it costed me 5 euro and cents but now I can make Gnomes for a year and still have enough beards. There probably will be a follow up and that will be a more functional one, with the body drilled out to form a box and the hat as the lid. The Bosslady liked this one a lot as a decoration piece.
