Made this nice litte toy after an Original Idea by Roger Dale Scott (Woodpops). He has provided all the dimensions and other info needed to make one. It is a good test for your skills in making projects to size. Maybe an idea for another challenge?

This is just a demo of what I made. It will be hard to improve on the HowTo video above so I suggest you watch that if you want to make one yourself. Good luck!

I got a response from Токарь - надомник! Essentially he says not to do what I do here. If you want to see how its done, watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Un2lamZyxg
I sent him the link to my first video on lathe knives and (surprisingly) he made a video in response. By that time, this video was already recorded and scheduled, meaning I still make the mistakes that the Russians grilled me for in the previous video. ;-] Lots of views though!
As I mentioned in my previous video on Latheknives, I wanted to make another one with slightly altered dimensions. That is the subject of this video. The tool itself was made from an old file, with the help of my son who is a welder. The handle I made out of a piece of ash. Still not the perfect tool but its another step in my journey.
