So I got myself another chainsaw. Do I need it? Not really but I wanted a strong saw that could run a longer bar than my old Dolmar and was lighter than the G660. The long bar is useful for cutting up trees and slicing through bigger blanks of hard wood. That is pretty much what you see me do in the cutting section of the video and I'm really enjoying the torque and the magnificent sound of the engine. Not sure if the neighbours were equally enthousiastic.
Taking it easy for now with factory settings and 1:25 oil-gas mixture; I will be running 1:40 once the engine is broken in. For a woodturner who cuts his own blanks from bigger wood I think this is a very good saw. In case anyone is interested: I got it from AliExpress.com at a very reasonable price. (not sponsored)
Let me know what you think!
