After Sunday's sneak preview of cutting some Rowan I decided I had to reshuffle my schedule and fit this video in at the first available slot. Anybody else who has experience at turning Rowan? I can only say it cuts great! When I compare this to the other green wood I have been turning lately (Poplar) it is far less stringy and lets itself be cut smoothly with very little effort. A bit brittle perhaps but easy to finish with a lighter cut. So in all I can say this was an enjoyable experience and the rough cut bowl looks quite promising. Let me know what you think!
