And we also have the confirmation that Ghost of Yotei is getting story DLC and a roguelike survival mode! Yesterday we had PlayStation release a video where the PS5 architect Mark Cerny spoke with Jack Huynh from AMD where they openly talked about next generation technologies that is going to power PS6. And it will indeed focus on machine learning and ray tracing, with some new compression tech for asset streaming as well! Big stuff going on for next-gen, and theres been a ton of negative press surrounding Microsoft and their next-gen plans as well so we cover all that going on. This week was busy with Sonys 2025 Corporate Report where they broke down revenue on physical games, AI, single player games, and.. not mentioning beyond console. That seems odd! Will they still release PC games? Also this week we have a lot of rumors for PlayStation Studios. It looks like Marvels Venom is still in development, Wolverine is targeting next year, and the next mainline God of War will be in Egypt? In the third party department we have Borderlands 4 issues on PS5 Pro, FFVII Remake multiplatform news, and MS Flight Simulator coming to PS5? Yup, we got rumors on this side too. Theres a lot of grapevine stuff going on. And Im sitting here wondering how do I firmly grasp it? Dont vines have prickly parts?!

This week we continue video game industry madness with word that Sony might be walking away from single player PC games. Live service will continue with PC versions but a game like Marvels Wolverine may indeed be Only on PlayStation for the foreseeable future. Which we now know its release date from this week as well! Elsewhere we have Marathon playtests, Horizon playtests, a new PS5 system software beta, a new PS Store feature, and some juicy discoveries for the next mainline God of War. Were going to Egypt perhaps?! Also we had a massive Xbox leadership shakeup that we just have to talk about. And of course the new PSSR update that I was too late to properly acknowledge, but is now confirmed. Also as I type this, Pokemon Gen 10 was revealed. Im thinking Im going with Gecqua.
