I made top-8 in the stroke play qualifiers for Winks' Pat's Open (I actually had the top-seed total mostly due to a great Pat's Lake and Pat's Ocean). This is the final match against Spyfox - the 2nd seed - at the Pat's Coean permutation of holes. The holes are the same, but the TO conditions were reset to normal. I forgot that Shadow Mario was apparently an option due to some Bloons meme that I wasn't aware of. Nonetheless, I went with Donkey Kong to stay on even footing and not lose par 5s.
Spyfox is relentless as always, though a couple cracks did show that I was able to exploit. He did the same for me. Weird golf here as we find ourselves in atypical locations and absurd recoveries. I almost won, but just petered out. Great tournament - thanks to Winks for hosting it and creating the codes for the custom permutations.
