Mario Golf for Gameboy Color originally released in North America on October 5, 1999; received a 3DS Virtual Console release on October 11, 2012; and now on Nintendo Switch Online on March 12, 2024. This broadcast is on the NSO version for convenience. I set out to complete every objective in the main story - this did not include match games against Luigi, Wario, and Mario.
In this eighth segment, I complete most of the Dunes activities. While this game is short, one thing I appreciate is that the game's side games aren't bloated with so many 10-shot challenges. I also appreciate that like Advance Tour, the NPCs usually have useful tidbits about the mechanics that aren't elaborated on in the console game and may have unique dialogue if you subvert their expectations. I leave the Alternating Game for the next segment.
