Mario Golf for Gameboy Color originally released in North America on October 5, 1999; received a 3DS Virtual Console release on October 11, 2012; and now on Nintendo Switch Online on March 12, 2024. This broadcast is on the NSO version for convenience. I set out to complete every objective in the main story - this did not include match games against Luigi, Wario, and Mario.
In this third segment, I went ahead to the champs lounge and challenged Tiny. My intention to start with the matches is to unlock Golf Guru's Pitch n' Putt as soon as possible, so it doesn't become near impossible with an overleveled out-of-control character. Tiny gave me a lot more trouble. Part of this too was just worse play on a course with a noticeable spike in difficulty over the previous. Adding to the irony, Tiny is a strongman who is the hardest hitter so far, but typically plays better shots near the green than off the tee. This made him quite annoying at times. But I made it despite being quite underleveled.
