Welcome back for another edition of Wildlife Wednesday! This month features The Konza Prairie Nature Trail and one of Christina's solo hikes. The Konza Prairie Biological Station is a wonderful place to view all the beautiful Kansas wildlife that inhabits the Kansas tallgrass prairie. From the resident herd of American bison to the occasional woodpecker pecking away at a tree, Konza Prairie keeps us coming back for more. The big stars, the ones that gets us there at sunrise, are the many deer that can be found grazing on the trail. Often times they will be as close as a few feet away. That was the case on this hike as Christina encountered some very curious deer that seemed just as interested in observing her as she was in observing them. It begs the question, "Who's Watching Who?"
