Eagle Ridge Trail is one of our favorite trails to hike in the Fall. We've been eager to back on it but have hesitated due to the high water levels of Milford Lake. Now that the water is going down again, I figured I'd scout it out to see if the trail was passable, and also to enjoy a little me time as well. Because the trail loops through most of Milford State Park, it also adds a large chunk of miles to our goal for the #Hike365Challenge! With connections to many other trails Eagle Ridge can be anywhere between a 2 mile hike to a 20 plus mile day! Choose your own adventure on this lovely trail as you pass from gallery forest to open prairie and back again. Eagle Ridge Trail is simple one of the most diverse and beautiful trails in Kansas.
