This year was a wet one in the Midwest. The effort to keep water from Kansas rivers from flowing into the Missouri caused water to be held in the local resevoirs. Milford Lake is the largest of these. As water levels rose, many of our favorite trails were flooded and closed. Now that the water level has started going down, I decide to scout some of those trails to determine if we will be able to use them anytime in the near future. And sometimes, a parent just needs to get some alone time. Tag along and see if Crystal Trail is passable, or if I go home in disappointment.
