Coronado Heights near Lindsborg, KS is a place that we have wanted to visit for a long time! Not only is it the location that historians believe that Francisco Vasquez de Coronado supposedly abandoned his search for The Seven Cities of Gold, but it is also home to a small castle! Built by the Works Progress Administration in 1936, the small castle is visible for miles around and offers a spectacular view of the surrounding area!
