Machine gun round per burst must take into account 4 factors:
# 1:Need to fire an adequate number of rounds to destroy the target.
# 2: Accuracy of round strikes or dispersion. The lower the number of rounds fired during a burst, the better the accuracy.
# 3 Control barrel heat. The higher the barrel temperature the lower the accuracy.
 # 4 Minimize the likelihood of Cartridge cookoff.
The higher the barrel temperature the more likely cartridge cookoff and barrel destruction. Need to add cooling intervals between bursts.
All of these factors will require a limited burst of around 15 rounds or 1.1 seconds of firing every 30 seconds.
