Why is This Christian In Favor of No-Fault Divorce Laws?
Although Christians have always been told it is a moral ill that damages social stability, researchers found it actually saves lives by decreasing homicide, suicide, and domestic violence.
Researchers at Harvard studied the effects of unilateral No-Fault divorce laws in the U.S. and found that it saved women's lives.
And no-fault divorce didn't increase the divorce rate long term.
The divorce-rate-per-married-woman is lower than it was back in 1970. So even though even though cohabitation is common now, people who choose to marry on average have more stable and healthy marriages than before no-fault-divorce.
