Hate to say it, you don’t need the perfect setup to start.
Triathlon gear can get expensive fast, and yes, some of it helps.
However, the gear will never do the training for you.
My first 70.3 setup was not fancy.
The point isn’t to have the cheapest gear.
The point is to stop letting equipment become the reason you delay the work.
Use what you have.
Get what you need.
Start where you are.
Get after it.
